Christmas Eve is almost as exciting as Christmas to me. I think the anticipation is half the fun!
We finished up all of our brown paper packages tied up with string…….
We baked and decorated Santas cookies. We decided he might want a change from the traditional sugar cookie he gets everywhere, so we made him chocolate!
We decided Santa likes LOTS of frosting and sprinkles.
We gathered our supplies to make our magic reindeer dust. (the magic happens when all of the beautiful sparkly colors are mixed together and sparkled on the yard)
One of the most special things that we did on Christmas Eve was go to a website called www.chickensandgoats.com where the girls got to pick out some gifts to give to families in Asia who were without. They picked six chickens, and seven bibles that will be sent to different families in need.
Then it was time for everyone to change into their jammies, load up, and go check out some Christmas lights!!
We got home and the girls thoroughly spread our reindeer dust.
(This is total fake snow)
Anna opened our very last door on our Christmas box…..
We got everything ready for Santa….and of course we never leave out his reindeer. We like to wrap the carrots up fancy to make them feel special.
Anna decided not to leave Santa a note this year, but Lucy sure did!
‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house….
Then we were off to bed, tucked in tight, and trying our hardest to go to sleep so that Santa could come!!!
