We did our first big kindergarten craft of the year today. 90 kindergartners in just a couple hours wasn’t too shabby! We had so much fun, and they were thankful for the most precious things! I have gotten to sub in kindergarten a lot so far this year, and I must say that I absolutely ADORE these little guys! They are such sweethearts! I have never heard the words Mrs. Cottingham so much in my life, but I am loving it every time I hear it!
Anna and Lucy got to go home with Grandma and Pa-Paw today. There were massive amounts of leaves at their house just calling their names!
Saturday:
Today I spent preparing to surprise Lucy with her new bedroom furniture. We have been planning on doing this for the longest time, but the time was just never right. I just happened to stumble onto a craigslist deal that was just too good to pass up. Grandma and Pa-Paw decided it would make a great early Christmas gift, so they blessed us with a beautiful room for our girl! We still have to paint the walls, and do some decorating. But the furniture is in, and she is just tickled pink! She loves it so much! (She also has a beautiful matching dresser that for some reason, I didn’t take pictures of!)
Thank you so much Grandma and Pa-Paw!!!
Sunday:
To say that we have missed our daddy this past week, is an understatement. We just don’t know what to do while he’s working these long hours! We looked forward to Sunday all week, because we knew that we would all be able to spend the day together. We got up and snuggled on the couch for a while, and then hopped on our bikes for some outdoor fun!
I lost my camera lens when we were at the creek. I was literally “up a creek!” We searched, and thank the Lord Lucy found it!
It was a beautiful day, and we just enjoyed being together!
Our Insta-week!
