I cannot believe that this day has come……It was always so far in the future, but today really snuck up on us!
I am used to having Lucy home, even if she went to preschool, she was never gone for long. She marched off to kindergarten today like she had done it 100 times before! She knew exactly where her class was, marched right in and was ready to start her first day! She was fearless!
Anna was very excited to start third grade. She hadn’t met her teacher yet, so she was nervous about that. She has quite a few friends in her class, so she was ready to go!
This year is Miss Hatfields first year teaching. She just graduated from Alabama in 2011. She is so sweet, and so excited about teaching kindergarten! We decided she needed something sweet for her very first day!
Of course Anna’s teacher, Mrs. Mastin couldn’t be left out!
Lucy wore the same outfit that Anna wore on her first day of kindergarten! I have had it tucked away for this special day!
Rosie was so sad to see them go……
Anna marched right into third grade, and was right back to her studious self!
I got a little nervous when we took Lucy, and I surprisingly didn’t take many pictures!! She’s such a big girl!
And we of course had to continue on our tradition in front of the Challenger sign……..
Here they are on Anna’s first day of kindergarten….
And then again on Anna’s first day of first grade……
and Second grade……
And here they are today on their first day of third grade and kindergarten!
So proud of my big girls!!!

Love seeing the pictures of Anna and Lucy through the years. Wow how time flies. They looked adorable for their first day back to school.
