Happy 8th Birthday Anna!

Can she really be 8 years old already?? How does it happen so fast. I tell you what, I am learning to really embrace every single day with these little ones because they are growing up right before my eyes!!!

Anna woke up and enjoyed her birthday pancakes, complete with  a candle!

I made some yummy cupcakes to take in for her class to help her celebrate!

Her class was so excited about her birthday! They sang to her about four different times while I was there!

For the second year in a row, they went on a field trip on her birthday! It was like a 2nd grade skating party just for her! She loved it!

Daddy only worked a half day so he could spend the day with our birthday girl!

After school, Anna and Grandpa went on a special ice cream date, and then for dinner she chose to go eat at Longhorn.

After dinner, we went home and had birthday cake! I made one for Grandma Joan too since her birthday is on the 28th!

She was all tuckered out after such a day of fun, and wanted to be rested up for her party! She signed her birthday book, and snuggled up for a good nights sleep as an eight year old!

We love you so much our eight year old girl! Thank you for being you and making our lives so wonderful. I hope that being eight is your best year yet!

What I love most about you right now is your sense of humor, you laugh right along with mom and dad. Your maturity, you are so sensitive to things, and understand situations much better than you should at your age. They way you care for others. The way you love to lay in bed and talk at night, and keep us in there as long as you can. I love the freckles on your nose. I love your brand new teeth, that you love to give those flashy grins with. I love your simple style. I love that you are just like your daddy in so many ways. I love your sweet notes left all over the house. I love your side pony tails that you love to wear every day. I love your responsibility.I love to hear you play the piano. You have so many talents. I just love everything about you. I am watching you turn into a wonderful young lady every day, and it is such a joy. You may have your quirks, as we all do, but I sure do love every one of them!

Happy Birthday My Sweet Girl!
