We enjoyed another day off from school today! Our poor daddy had to work, but we still enjoyed a beautiful day!
Anna has been saving a $100 dollar bill that Aunt Sandy gave her for her 6th birthday for two years! She told me a while back that she wanted to spend it on an American Girl doll. I told her that a purchase that big would require some time to think about it and make sure she wanted to spend that much on one thing. We talked about it a few more times, and she decided that yes, an American Girl Doll was how she wanted to spend her money.
She was so excited to order it! We got on the website and she was able to pick exactly how she wanted her to look. She picked her hair color and length, her skin color, and her eye color. We placed her order, and she is very anxiously waiting for her to arrive!!!
Here she is about to hand over that chunk of change!!
Thank you Aunt Sandy!
For lunch we headed to Chik-fil-a so the girls could spend their gift cards that Aunt Jeannie sent them for Valentines Day! (Thank You Aunt Jeannie!!! that was a great gift!!!!!)
After lunch, we came home, grabbed Rosie and headed off on an adventure!
This creek has given us hours of entertainment! It is a favorite spot for Rosie too! She runs and swims and has a blast!
It was all fun and games until Lucy fell in……..
So we packed up and headed back home!
It was another Sunshiney beautiful day that I got to spend with my sweet girls! If our daddy would have been with us, it would have been PERFECTION!! I feel so blessed! We may not have any money, but I feel that we are so rich with love, we couldn’t ask for anything more!
