The girls woke up to all kinds of Valentine goodies!
We made pink heart shaped chocolate chip pancakes.
Then it was off to school for a day of parties and fun!
Lucy’s party was first…..
When we finished up at Lucy’s party, we headed to Challenger to party it up 2nd grade style!
We had ice cream Sundaes, and played Valentine Bingo! It was super fun, but taking pictures in a 2nd grade class, just wasn’t happening.
After school, Anna had her piano lesson, and then we went home to get ready for our Valentines Day dinner. Lucy and I made mini heart shaped cherry pies that were oh so yummy!
The girls have been asking for some fake nails for the longest time. Any time Anna wants to do something “Girly” I always jump on it quick!! I finally got them some today in their Valentine baskets. They couldn’t wait to get home from school to put them on! ( Don’t worry….I definitely wouldn’t have let them wear them in public)
Well, it turns out she didn’t want them for girly reasons…..she wanted them to pretend they were claws!!!
I also didn’t realize that they would be so sturdy! I thought they would come off easy. WRONG!
Note to self: NEVER buy fake nails from the dollar tree!
Lucy’s friend Elijah stopped by to bring her a valentine, and she had made one for him too!
Grandma and Pa-Paw came over to have dinner with us, and brought heart shaped pizza! They also brought the girls the sweetest baskets!
This is one of the cards Anna gave us today. I just thought it was so sweet!
Right at the end of the day, we received the prettiest, fanciest box of chocolate covered strawberries in the mail from Grandpa and Grandma Joan! They barely even made it through the door before they were devoured!!
Thank you Aunt Sandy, Ma-Maw, Aunt Jeannie and Uncle Glen, Grandpa and Grandma Joan, Grandma and Pa-Paw, and Ma-Maw Maxine for all the sweet cards and goodies the girls got in the mail throughout the week! You are all so wonderful to us and we appreciate you all more than you know!!!
We love you!!
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!
