a little of this and a little of that…….

I love sweet little projects that come home from school…..

And thoughtful notes left for a surprise……

They enjoyed getting  Halloween cards in the mail from Grandma….

And had fun decorating some yummy cookies!

I also had a teacher conference with Mrs. Beauford this week and she just went on and on about how wonderful our Anna is. She is testing way above her level, and just doing great. She also asked me again what year I was in 2nd grade at Patch Barracks Elementary in Stuttgart Germany. She told me she didn’t start teaching until 1987. I told her I was in 2nd grade in 1986, and that my teacher was Pepper Dennis. Her face lit up and she said “Oh my goodness……I know her!” She said she taught with her for quite a few years in Germany. We couldn’t believe how close to being my 2nd grade teacher she was!!!! It really is a small world!!!
