Anna decided this year instead of having a regular birthday party, she wanted to have a “Safari Slumber Party”! She invited Brinkley, Kenzie, and Cara.
She planned out all the details……
She was so excited! She counted down the days! She woke up Friday morning and said “I can’t believe today is finally the day!”
Cara was the first to arrive, and then Kenzie got here next. Brinkley had dance class until 6:00, so the girls played outside until she got here.
When Brinkley got here they were so excited!! We even got to hang out with Dawson and Graham for a few minutes!
The girls each got to make their own personal pizzas, and while they cooked, they painted their birdhouses. They turned out so cute! We have some very talented girls!!
Next it was pizza time, and then Happy Birthday cupcakes! Make a big wish Anna!! Brinkley has always been there to help blow out those candles!!
Then it was dance party time, followed by “pin the tail on the jaguar!”
Then they were ready for a fashion show! And boy were they fancy!
Soon they figured out that any proper fashion show needed make-up. So to the beauty salon they came!
Present time!!
They played and played and played, and finally decided that it was time to set up our “campground” and start a movie. They started to settle down when we realized that it was ice cream sundae time!!!
After a while of letting the sugar wear off, they settled down to finish their movie. They watched “Chestnut” which was about 2 little orphan girls who found a puppy. such a sweet movie, and every one of those sweet little girls of ours were crying!! such sweeties! We finished that one and then put in “Ramona and Beezus”. Brinkley and Kenzie were the first to finally give it up. I fell asleep before Anna and Cara did!
They woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed, shortly after 7:00, and were ready for pancakes!! We had chocolate chip pancakes, with chocolate syrup and whipped cream!! yum, yum!
Thank you Brinkley, Kenzie, and Cara for being such sweet little girls and making Annas party so special!!

Anna: This party looks like so much fun. Even Rose looks like she is having a good time. Looks like you got really nice presents! 7 years old....WOW you are really growing up fast!
